You can delete your account at any time. In the app: clients go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete account; operators go to Account, then Delete account. You confirm with your password and a one-time code sent to your email, and the account is removed immediately. If you can no longer sign in, you can request deletion at towmenamibia.com/requestaccountdeletion and our team will verify the request before acting on it.
Deleting your account immediately removes your profile and sign-in credentials, saved payment cards, any subscription, saved vehicles, saved places, trusted contacts, and your notification registrations and device tokens.
Records of completed jobs are not deleted with your account. We keep tow and roadside job records, payments, invoices and operator earnings, messages sent on a job, inspection photos, videos and signatures, emergency and QR scan records, location points recorded during a job, and sign-in and security records. A completed tow is a transaction involving another party and, in the case of financial records, one we are legally required to keep. After deletion these records no longer identify you as an active TowME account holder.
We keep those records for as long as they are needed for the purposes listed above and for any period required of us by Namibian law. We do not currently publish a single fixed deletion date for them. Unused security and verification codes are the one thing the system deletes automatically, as soon as they expire.
If you want to know what is still held about a specific job, contact us and we will tell you.
